We are De Hoon & Partners: specialists in international taxation for Belgians and Dutch people who want to emigrate legally for tax purposes. No anonymous desk and no online guru, but a tax lawyer who also implements his own advice.
De Hoon & Partners has been guiding wealthy individuals, entrepreneurs and investors in international taxation and tax emigration for 30 years. We don't just advise on paper: with our own offices in Bulgaria and Portugal, we actually set up the structure. You talk to the tax lawyer himself, not a junior.
The tax lawyer
Iven De Hoon is a tax lawyer and has been doing this work for 30 years. He studied law at the University of Antwerp, holds a master's in taxation and accountancy from the Vlerick Institute and wrote several books on international taxation, including Tax Havens.
He works from our Sofia office and guides clients in Dutch, English, French and Italian. When you work with us, Iven himself is at the table: he also executes his own advice.

Within the law, not around it. We do tax optimization and planning, always within legal boundaries. We do not cooperate with tax evasion, sham relocation or concealing assets. Real tax emigration requires a real move or a structure with sufficient substance. All figures on this page are general and indicative; they do not replace personal advice.
We play by the rules. We work within the boundaries of national and international tax law and treaties. We do not participate in tax evasion, only in tax planning. Everyone has the right to establish a company in a low-tax country, as long as the rules of the game (such as sufficient substance) are respected. Deciding to actually relocate to such a country is simply an expression of individual freedom. It has nothing to do with fraud.
Tax evasion is something else entirely: deliberately and illegally escaping tax, for instance through sham transactions, falsified books or hiding income from the tax authorities. That element of illegality is precisely the line between evasion and planning. If you are looking for help to hide something from the tax office, you have come to the wrong address.
